Get together in Jesup

Tuesday, January 25, 1938

It was a very late night with Ding writing the following day that the was not under his own power and very tired. Ding and Dorothy had a misunderstanding because Dorothy is dating someone else and Ding is envious.

He returned her picture to her.

President’s Birthday – Date with Gange

Saturday, January 29, 1938

Ding attended an event with Gange, with whom this was a second date. He wrote that he never liked her and if he ever asks her again, he hope someone kicks him in the pants.

He got in very early and felt fine on Sunday.

President’s Birthday

Saturday, January 29, 1938

Not sure if this is what event Ding went to, but the only president that I could find with a birthday on Jan. 29 was William McKinley, who was assasinated in 1901.
